Jeremiah Buoni is an American television personality and social media influencer. He is best known as one of the main cast members on the 2017 MTV reality show Floribama Shore. He appeared in all but one episode of the series.

Despite his tough exterior, Jeremiah is a big softy at his core. This professional bodybuilder is smart, opinionated and confident -- which is obvious from his unique sense of style and dad dance moves.

Floribama Shore[]

Season 1[]

Jeremiah is a 22 year old muscled man who enters the beach house looking to break out of his shell and have wild experiences. He hits it off with all his roommates, though has a crush on the wild girl in the house, Kortni. He's initially oblivious to Nilsa's crush on him. When he does figure it out, he steers clear because Gus, whom he is close with, likes her. Jeremiah and Kortni decide to be friends and nothing more. He pursues a girl named Kayla Jo, though Nilsa and Kortni's aggressiveness toward Kayla Jo quickly causes an issue. While Kortni apologizes and tries to make things right, Jeremiah realizes that Nilsa is more of a mean girl than he thought. He also clashes with Aimee, who finds him disrespectful. A brawl at dollar draft beer night brings all the roommates closer together. While everyone fought physically for one another, Jeremiah was notably absent, opting to stand by the side or break up his roommates. They all took a mental note of his actions.

Most of Jeremiah's drama comes from his relationship with Kayla Jo, who the girls in the house don't approve of. When they find out she's Wiccan, they begin bashing her and being dramatic. Jeremiah calls a house meeting to clear the air. Aimee insists it's just a joke. Jeremiah bears down on Nilsa being the one who is behind all of the drama. When she tries to talk he interrupts her, leading to a heated argument between the two. He loses respect for her during the fight. She later finds him to apologize and they hug it out. More of the roommates start to find Jeremiah's lectures tiring, especially as he vocalizes his disliking of all the bar fights. He admits it's because he has to set a good example for his brothers and family. He also breaks things off with Kayla Jo. His brother Josh comes over and hits it off with Nilsa, despite Jeremiah's warnings.

Nilsa's friends Shana and Katrina visit the beach house. Gus and Jeremiah instantly find Katrina attractive, and make a friendly competition over who can get her. Codi tells Nilsa that Gus and Jeremiah have a bet on Katrina, with "his money" being on Gus. Nilsa hates that her friend is a bet and tells Katrina, who breaks down in tears. Jeremiah and Gus vehemently deny the bet allegation. Jeremiah thinks Gus is to blame, but they patch things up rather quickly. Everything escalates back at the beach house when Nilsa outs Codi as the source of the betting rumor. They realize Codi is the root of the problem. However, the next morning, Codi learns his grandfather passed away. The roommates rally around him in support, with Jeremiah leading a nice prayer for the man. After Codi leaves, the remaining roommates decide to invite all their family over for a family day. Meanwhile, Josh dumps Nilsa before their date because she called her ex a few weeks ago. Jeremiah supports his brother's choice despite the drama that it brings.

Jeremiah manages to stay out of the drama between not only Josh and Nilsa, but Kirk and Aimee, too. He ends up having a nice family day even though his parent's couldn't come. He flirts with Candace's mom, Kirk's mom, and shotguns beer with Candace's dad. Family day is fun, loud, full of laughter, and lots of drinks. The next day, Jeremiah decides to make a low country boil as their last dinner together. The boys help him out and they end up eating inside to escape the rain. Jeremiah leads the group in family prayer. They talk about their memories of the summer. They're family now and have a big group hug. They all sleep in the upstairs living room since it's their final night. In the morning, the roommates pack their belongings and say their goodbyes. Gus even road trips back to Tallahassee with Jeremiah. After the shore, Jeremiah moved back in with his brother, Josh. Together they've been "home schooling" the local ladies.

Season 2[]

Jeremiah, Kirk, and Gus road trip together to the PCB house. There's a divide in the house because over the break, Jeremiah and Codi had a falling out as they still don't like each other. Jeremiah doesn't follow Codi on Instagram. Gus and Codi decide to swap Nilsa and Kortni's stuff as a prank, which kicks off a terrible fight. Jeremiah wrangles Kortni, which is a theme as the second night he has to keep her from going after her boyfriend Logan. She sobs on him in the taxi and Codi tries to be supportive of her. Jeremiah snaps at him to shut up.

In the morning, Codi accuses Jeremiah of not liking him. Jeremiah doesn't like the stupid things that Codi does. Codi's problem is that he would take a bullet for Jeremiah, but doesn't think Jeremiah gives a shit about him. Jeremiah brings up last summer when Codi's grandad passed and he talked to him on the pier. Codi calls him "fake as hell, and shady as fuck." He accuses Jeremiah of thinking he's better than everyone else when he's not. He knows Jeremiah won't have anyone else's back in a fight. Jeremiah, in a confessional, admits he has everyone's back - except Codi's.

Jeremiah becomes a middle man in the house with Nilsa and Gus's on-again-off-again situationship. He also drives Kortni to the doctor for the hand she broke while punching a wall.

Gus and Jeremiah's birthday weekend arrives so the roomies celebrate Gus first since his "real birthday" comes first. The roomies get drunk at a bar where a guy throws crackers at them. Kirk gets in trouble for throwing them back so they're all kicked out. At another bar, Jeremiah is heckled by a stranger. Kirk intervenes and punches the guy. He, Jeremiah, Gus, and Candace go back to the house, where the PCB police arrest Kirk. Candace gets back at JeriGus for "siding with the cops" and not checking on Kirk who was in the backseat. Kirk is released and gets the trio to make peace for the night. The nex night, the boys are loud and have fun together while Kortni is on the phone, which angers Logan.

The roommates get jobs at Shore Dogs, cheer on Candace and Nilsa who enter the Miss La Vela pageant, Jeremiah takes care of drunk Gus, and gets more involved with Kortni and Logan's relationship drama. Codi, Gus, and Jeremiah disinfect the house after the other roommates get sick. The house prepares for Candace's boyfriend Gator to arrive. Jeremiah and Gus refuse to call him by the ridiculous name, which reignites their feud with Candace. Kortni confides in Jeremiah about her problems with Logan, who has been getting possessive and strange. He yelled at Jeremiah earlier because he wanted to talk with Kortni while the roommates were speaking. He felt entitled to speak with her because she's his girlfriend.

A bombshell hits the house when Kortni has a pregnancy scare. She breaks up with Logan after he makes a disrespectful scene at the house by showing up unannounced - and uninvited. Jeremiah tells Kortni that if Logan keeps coming around uninvited he's going to box the guy out. They talk about Logan's jealousy of their friendship. They remember their date, which she doesn't regret, as it made them closer as "bros". She doesn't feel safe around Logan and Jeremiah believes she's outgrown him. Kortni later reveals she isn't pregnant. The recent closeness between Kortni and Jeremiah makes Aimee and Gus think they have feelings for each other.

Season 3[]

Jeremiah and Gus enter the house together, ready for another summer with the roommates. Gus claims that Jeremiah is jealous of him for having a girlfriend and for not getting laid in months. This summer saw a very different side of Jeremiah, who got extremely hammered the first night, which is unlike him.

The season saw a huge fallout between Jeremiah and Gus, which shocked the whole house. Nilsa had brought home a guy who had dissed Florida boys, which set Gus off and they had a physical altercation. Annoyed that Gus had yet again caused another fight, Jeremiah gets up to go out to talk to the guy. Gus was furious that Jeremiah was going to go comfort the guy and called him out, which in turn caused an angry Jeremiah to scream back at him. The two boys fought and security had to step in.

Jeremiah felt isolated from his roommates, as most of them took Gus' side in the fight. However, Mattie enters the house and they strike up a friendship. Their relationship grows stronger and they form a bond, with Mattie opening up to Jeremiah and also having his back when no one else would.

After talking to Papa Butts, Jeremiah and Gus hash things out, temporarily patching things up between them. However, their friendship never truly was the same.

Their relationship fell apart during their last couple days in the house when Jeremiah told Mattie he didn't want to do long distance. This breaks Mattie's heart, because the way he was acting and saying she saw it as something more. Jeremiah was insistent he was clear from the start he was just looking for a summer fling and didn't want to do long distance.

Season 4[]

Jeremiah is nervous to enter the house since everyone basically took Gus's side on their ongoing feud. When the cast went to the VMAs, they were going to share an Airbnb, but he was told there wasn't any room. He offered to sleep on the couch, but the main reason was everyone was afraid he and Gus would fight. Nilsa also said it was because Jeremiah wouldn't put any money into the room until the last minute, after it had already been paid for. Jeremiah said he was heartbroken over this and he was worried how everyone would treat him when he enters the house.[1]

Gus is angry with him because after leaving St. Pete, Jeremiah had packed his stuff already at their shared apartment, even though Gus had nowhere to go. The other roommates took Gus' side, making Jeremiah feel outcasted again. He hadn't spoken to anyone in awhile, but despite all the drama he was willing to let bygones be bygones.

He talks to Gus in the hot tub where they talk it out, seemingly squashing things and hugging it out. Jeremiah talks with Aimee by the fire pit about how he was nervous about coming into the house and worried no one was going to talk to him. He expressed how it felt no one was hearing or listening to him about anything, but he felt a lot better now since things are going smoothly so far. Aimee gains a lot more respect for him and sees his side of things. They then talk about how Jeremiah started a few problems in the house. First one was way back in the first season where he and Aimee fought about the messy room, causing them to laugh about it now. Second was on the first night in St. Pete where Jeremiah drunkly ranted about not being able to open the door to puke. Thirdly was on the night when Nilsa got arrested, Jeremiah hollered at Aimee, which he said he regrets. Jeremiah explained that he wasn’t trying to get angry and he felt Aimee wasn’t listening to him, so he got frustrated but it came out bad. He apologizes for that, which Aimee accepts.

During a snowstorm, the roommates have a game night and play a drinking game. One of the questions is who the most entitled within the group, and everyone chooses Jeremiah. He wants to know why exactly they think it’s him, which sets Gus off. Gus stands up to fight, to which Jeremiah calls him a fool and tells him to sit down. This makes Gus start a physical fight with him, making everyone else panic and yell at them to stop. Production breaks them up and that’s the end of game night. At this point, there is no nope for repairing the boys' friendship, as Jeremiah says he's done with this "kid".[2]

Despite their feud, Jeremiah grows concerned for Gus when the latter runs away from the house. He rides with Nilsa, Codi, and Kirk around the area to search for their missing roommate, but are unsuccessful. Production eventually finds him, and although he's relieved, Jeremiah thinks Gus' actions were selfish. The next couple days are a lot more peaceful without Gus and Jeremiah is getting along well with the rest of the roommates.[3]

When Gus returns and attempts to apologize, Jeremiah doesn't quite buy it as he's heard this speech before and just simply doesn't trust him.

Quotes[]

  • "I fear no man. I fear God. If you wanna do this Gus, let's go."
  • "You need to listen to my FUCKIN' WORDS!"

Relationships[]

Gus[]

Jeremiah and Gus were fast friends when they moved into the shore house. They had similar personalities and loved to have fun together. They bonded over their mutual love of fitness. They became best friends and did almost everything together. They called each other brothers and had one of the most iconic bromances in the franchise, rivaled only by Pauly D and Vinny from Jersey Shore. Unfortunately, the pair had a falling out that started in Season 3 and continued for the remainder of the series. While they had moments of less contention the last few episodes of that season, they never fully repaired their friendship. Things got worse in Season 4 when the cast was in lockdown, and the boys fought more than once. They agreed their friendship was ruined forever. They were able to stay cordial for the remainder of the season. The boys do not currently follow each other on social media and have not publicly interacted since the series conclusion in 2021.

Kortni[]

Kortni and Jeremiah were attracted to one another when they first moved into the house. He asked her on a date, which he made her pay for her half of, and they ultimately agreed to be just friends. They became rather close. Jeremiah comforted Kortni on more than one occasion, notably when she dealt with her stalker ex-boyfriend and a pregnancy scare. She returned the favor when he was stressed or feeling isolated in the house. There were moments when they each thought about being together romantically, but they were too different.

Nilsa[]

Nilsa was attracted to Jeremiah from the moment he entered the beach house, though he didn't initially pay her attention. She chased him for a while and liked that he wasn't chasing her back. Nilsa had a short-lived competition for Jeremiah's attention, as he liked Kortni instead. They became pretty good friends later on despite their history and Nilsa's hookup with his brother. They had a mutual respect and understanding for one another.

Codi[]

Codi has said several times throughout the show that he did not like Jeremiah and couldn’t stand being in the same room with him. They had several arguments throughout the first couple seasons. Jeremiah thinks Codi is shady, while Codi thinks Jeremiah has a superiority complex and is just an overall douchebag. When Jeremiah and Gus had their big blowout in St. Pete, Codi took Gus' side.

Despite their differences, both have been able to support one another when their respective grandpas passed away. By the fourth season, Codi came around to liking Jeremiah while Gus is out of the house quarantining, as well as seeing his unraveling behavior. Although Codi considered Jeremiah a friend, he still sometimes turned a blind eye to Gus' treatment towards him.

Candace[]

Candace and Jeremiah were not close in the first few seasons. Jeremiah often joined in on her and Gus' arguments, usually siding with his best friend at the time. He also joined in on making fun of Gatorjay's name, Candace's boyfriend at the time. The two also had vastly different outlooks and opinions on life. However they became better friends during the fourth season after Gus tried to fight Jeremiah. Candace comforted Jeremiah after the fight, saying she initially took Gus' side in their feud, but can't excuse his actions during game night.[4]

Kirk[]

While they were friendly during the first couple summers, Kirk was always offput with Jeremiah's emotional reactions and awkwardness during situations. He, like Codi, usually would side with Gus during his fights with Jeremiah.

Aimee[]

Aimee and Jeremiah never quite hit it off. She didn't like his dad jokes, bad dancing, or cocky attitude. She couldn't tell why Nilsa or Kortni would find him attractive - something she made clear to them. Things got worse when Jeremiah tried to get Aimee to clean her side of the room by seeing if she "could see the line" in the room separating their sides. She called him disrespectful and didn't like that he was in her business. While he kept a more jovial nature with her, their differences were blatantly obvious. However, Aimee gained more respect for him after hearing more of his side of things on his feud with Gus and how he felt he wasn't being heard during their talk by the fire while in Montana.

Mattie[]

When Mattie met the other roommates, Jeremiah was in the midst of his huge fallout with Gus. Since Gus was already friends with Mattie, Jeremiah was worried about having another person against him. However, Mattie actually took the time to see his side and had his back throughout the situation. Mattie and Jeremiah shared a mutual attraction, as both enjoyed each other’s vibe. However, their relationship fell apart when Jeremiah told Mattie he didn’t want to do a long distance relationship, thus breaking her heart. They were able to talk things through and end up on good terms before they left the house for the summer. It is unknown where they stand now, as Mattie didn’t return for the fourth season and she wasn’t mentioned by him at all.
