The Jersey Shore franchise is a multimedia television-driven franchise consisting of five television series, two digital series, eleven iterations of the original concept, and multiple media extensions including books and other merchandise. It began in 2009 with the release of Jersey Shore on MTV; the series ran for six seasons. The latest and only airing American spin-off is Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.
The Jersey Shore franchise was created by SallyAnn Salsano on behalf of 495 Productions.

- DJ "Pauly D" DelVecchio - A main cast member on Jersey Shore and a title cast member on his spin-off, The Pauly D Project. He guest starred on Snooki & JWoww then returned for the cast reunion spin-off series, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.
- Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi - A main cast member on Jersey Shore and a title cast member on her spin-off Snooki & JWoww. She starred in the digital series Moms With Attitude with Jenni and Cooking in the Crib with Snooki & Joey. Nicole later returned for the cast reunion spin-off series Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.
- Jenni "J-WOWW" Farley - A main cast member on Jersey Shore and a title cast member on her spin-off Snooki & JWoww. She starred in the digital series Moms With Attitude with Nicole. Jenni later returned for the cast reunion spin-off series Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.
- Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino - A main cast member on Jersey Shore. He was a guest on the digital spin-off Moms With Attitude, before he joined the spin-off reunion Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. He was absent for most of season 3 because of his jail sentencing, but returned after his release.
- Vinny Guadagnino - A main cast member on Jersey Shore, he had a spin-off interview series titled The Show with Vinny that lasted one season.
- Ronnie Ortiz-Magro - A main cast member on Jersey Shore and Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, until his exit in the fifth season. He returned occasionally as a guest.
- Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola - A main cast member on Jersey Shore, she joined the reunion spin-off Jersey Shore: Family Vacation in the sixth season.
- Angelina Pivarnick - Was a main cast member on Jersey Shore for the first two seasons, but left both seasons early. She returned for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation in a recurring role for the first two seasons, before her promotion to a series regular in the second half of season two.
- Deena Nicole Cortese - Was brought into Jersey Shore after Angelina's exit and joined the series in Season 3. She guest starred on Snooki & JWoww and is a main cast member for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.

Jersey Shore (2009-2012)[]
Jersey Shore is a reality television series on MTV that followed eight housemates as they live, work and party in the Jersey Shore area. The first season of the show was filmed in August 2009 in a summer share house in Seaside Heights but was also filmed in other towns. The show debuted amid large amounts of controversy regarding the use of the terms "Guido/Guidette", portrayals of Italian-American stereotypes and other scrutiny. Regardless, the series ran for six highly successful seasons and ended on December 20, 2012. The series became a staple in pop culture and shaped the future of reality television.
The first two seasons followed housemates, Paul DelVecchio, Nicole Polizzi, Mike Sorrentino, Samantha Giancola, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Jenni Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, and Angelina Pivarnick. Season three introduced new housemate, Deena Nicole Cortese, who served as Pivarnick's replacement.
The Pauly D Project (2012)[]
The Pauly D Project is a reality television series on MTV. It is the first spin-off of Jersey Shore and follows fan favorite DJ Pauly D as he follows his aspirations to become a DJ. The series lasted for one season, from March 29, 2012, to June 14, 2012.
Also in the cast were Michael "Biggie" Morman, Gerald "Big Jerry" Gialanella, Ryan Labbe, and Jason "JROC" Craig.
Snooki & JWoww (2012-2015)[]
Snooki and JWoww is the second spin-off of Jersey Shore and follows the popular roommates and best friends Snooki and JWoww, who are there for each other through thick and thin as they navigate their friendship, engagements, a wedding and motherhood. The series aired on June 25, 2012, and ran for four successful seasons before it ended on February 4, 2015.
Other cast members included their significant others Jionni LaValle and Roger Mathews. Their Jersey Shore roommates guest starred occasionally.
The Show with Vinny (2013)[]
The Show with Vinny is a United States hybrid talk show-reality television series on MTV, starring Jersey Shore cast member, Vinny Guadagnino. The show premiered on May 2, 2013 and ended July 11, 2013 after one season.
Other cast members included his family, Paola Giaimo and Nino Giaimo.
Floribama Shore (2017-2021)[]
Floribama Shore is a reality television series and spinoff of Jersey Shore that focused on eight new roommates in a shore house at the Florida Panhandle. The series had four successful seasons before its official cancelation in 2022.
The series starred Jeremiah Buoni, Gus Smyrnios, Nilsa Prowant, Aimee Hall, Kirk Medas, Candace Rice, Codi Butts, and Kortni Gilson. Kortni left the series after season three, though her role wasn't recast.
Jersey Shore: Family Vacation (2018-present)[]
Jersey Shore: Family Vacation is a reality series that reunited the cast of Jersey Shore several years after its cancelation. It began airing on April 5, 2018, and has recently started filming its seventh season.
The first four seasons starred, Paul DelVecchio, Nicole Polizzi, Mike Sorrentino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Jenni Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, and Deena Nicole Cortese. Angelina Pivarnick joined the series full-time in the second season. Ronnie left as a series regular for the fifth season but returned as a guest, while Sammi returned to the franchise fully in season six.

Moms with Attitude (2015-2019)[]
Moms with Attitude was originally an Awestruck original digital series on YouTube, Facebook, and Verizon's go90 streaming service app. It starred Jenni "JWoww" Farley and Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, and looked at their lives as moms through short videos. MTV picked up the series for their YouTube-exclusive channel and produced fifteen new episodes. The episodes aired on MTV's newly released Jersey Shore YouTube channel on October 28th, 2015, as part of the networks expansion of Jersey Shore content.
Cooking in the Crib with Snooki & Joey (2018)[]
Cooking in the Crib with Snooki & Joey is an MTV original digital series on YouTube. It starred Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and her best friend Joey Camasta, and a rotating cast of guests. The 5-8 minute episodes aired on MTV's newly released Jersey Shore YouTube channel on October 18th, 2018, as part of the networks expansion of Jersey Shore content. It was cancelled after one season.

Merchandise[]
Once Jersey Shore: Family Vacation began streaming on Paramount+, the network created an online store for the series through their Paramount Shop. The merchandise is officials labeled as Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, but features merch with phrases, references, and apparel from the parent series as well. They offer t-shirts, sweatshirts, mugs, tumblers, water bottles, tank tops, a throw blanket of the note, a duffle bag, cutting board, aprons, and more. This is the official merchandise shop specifically for the series, and the most advertised by the cast.
After the rise of the series, Danny Merk created an online store titled "The Shore Store". It is lauded as the "Official Store of Jersey Shore" and is connected to the retail store featured on the show. The site offers the fashion line "Dirty Couture by Pauly D", as well as, t-shirts, hoodies, tank tops, sweatpants, hats, V-necks, booty shorts, and a kids line. The site, however, does not exclusively sell Jersey Shore merchandise, having other lines of apparel and accessories as well.
