Lauren "Laurens" Elizabeth Sorrentino (née Pesce) is a recurring cast member on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. She is Mike Sorrentino's wife and mother to their two kids, Romeo and Mia. She first appears in the first episode of the reunion sequel series. Lauren was also featured as a main cast member on the short lived spin-off, The Sorrentinos.
Jersey Shore: Family Vacation[]
Season 1[]
She is introduced as Mike's girlfriend, whom she met before the original Jersey Shore aired. According to Mike, she has been by his side through his most troubling times such as Mike's drug addiction and tax evasion case. Mike proposes to her in the season, which she happily accepts.
Season 2[]
Lauren and Mike start making their wedding plans before Mike's sentencing for his tax evasion case. She supports her fiancé throughout his entire court case. Once Mike is sentenced to eight months in prison, the couple decide to get married before he has to go.
The wedding is successful and Lauren officially becomes Mrs. Sorrentino.
Season 3[]
While her husband is in prison, the other roommates rally around her and look after her for Mike. She accompanies Jenni and Angelina to Las Vegas for Ariana's (Ron's daughter) birthday. Lauren confronts Angelina, accusing her of posting clickbait articles on her Instagram story.
She calls Jenni to let her know Mike will be released from prison sooner than anticipated. JWoww ignites the roommates to her house to welcome Mike home. However, plans changed and Mike's original release date was still in place. To help bring her spirits up, the roommates take Lauren out for bowling.
Season 4[]
She starts being more involved in the series, even doing her own interview confessionals, likely due to Nicole's absence. Lauren is seen with Mike getting ready for a dinner with some of the roommates. Mike suggests having a plate for Angelina, but Lauren refuses as the girls are on the outs with her over the speech. The Situations decide to play a prank on their friends and have Lauren dress up as Angelina. Deena later invites Lauren to the Vegas trip when Jenni is not able to go due to having surgery on her jaw.
During the Vegas trip, Lauren takes a pregnancy test and it turns out to be positive. Mike and Lauren share the news using Deena's towel that she used to announce her pregnancy.
Season 5[]
Lauren suffered from postpartum after the birth of her son, Romeo. Things got worse when the new baby got sick and had to stay in the hospital for a few more days. Eventually Romeo gets to come home. When Mike and Lauren are getting ready to have their baby baptized, they learn that he can’t until Mike is rebaptized since they can’t find his papers. They decide to have a celebration for it since Pauly and Nikki were coming to town, and all the roommates would be coming to spend the week together. Later Lauren bumps heads with Deena while the cast is in the Florida Keys. Their first argument occurred on the first night when Lauren was tired and complained about wanting to go to bed. She snaps at the group saying how she and Mike have a newborn to take care of, then turns to Deena that she does as well. Deena responds that she isn't pushing it because she brought her parents to come watch the kids so she could enjoy herself. The second time happened when Lauren was about to snap her fingers at a waitress, mortifying Deena. Lauren explains since she comes from a wealthy family, she went to a country club with her family. She said all she needed to do was snap her fingers and the waiter would come to her. Then Lauren got upset after Deena's murder mystery prank, to which Deena snapped back at her. After the trip, Lauren and Mike gear up for Romeo's baptism.
Lauren gets involved with the drama with the roommies, by blocking Angelina because she blocked her. She told Jenni to block the "dirty little hamster" and then a week later invited Angelina to her skin care launch.
Season 6[]
Lauren and Mike are expecting their second child. They have a baby girl, Mia Bella. In the second half of the season, Lauren opens her own store and invites the girls, although Angelina is the only one who could make it.
Season 7[]
While Mike is away for Jersey Shore Day, Lauren takes a pregnancy test and learns she's pregnant with her third child. Her plan to surprise him is repeatedly stopped by Mike's extension of the trip. She finally takes matters into her own hands and calls Pauly for help. He suggests going to the Shore House to surprise Mike with shirts from the Shore Store. Lauren takes Romeo to the store and they meet Danny Merk. They surprise Mike at the house and tell all the roomies (minus Vinny) of the pregnancy. She later goes with the roommates on Jets Day.
Trivia[]
- She was the only recurring cast member, that was not part of the main cast, of the franchise to do interview confessionals, until Season 7 when Nikki had a confessional with Pauly.
- Season 4 of Family Vacation is the first and only season she appears in every episode.
- Her boutique is called Bijoux Boutique.
- So far, she and Chris Buckner are the only two recurring cast members to appear in over 100 episodes.
