Nilsa Prowant is an American television personality and boutique owner. She is best known as one of the main cast members on the 2017 MTV reality show Floribama Shore.

Season 1[]
Local girl Nilsa arrives at the PCB house with her friend Kortni. Fresh out of a divorce, Nilsa is looking to have fun in her 20s. She's instantly attracted to both her roommates - Jeremiah and Gus. She goes on a date with Gus, but finds that he's taking things too seriously for what she wants. She really wants Jeremiah, who is pursing Kortni. This, combined, with Kortni's sudden wild antics, makes Nilsa distance herself from the girl. She isn't afraid of competing against Kortni for Jeremiah's attention. In fact, she's sure she'll win. This ends up being nothing as Kortni and Jeremiah decide to be friends instead. Nilsa clashes with a girl Jeremiah meets in the bar, Kayla Jo. Kayla Jo gives Nilsa an "I see you" gesture to Nilsa and Nilsa takes the gesture as being aggressive. This leads to an argument in the bar - but it's not the last time the roommates see Kayla Jo, because she becomes Jeremiah's summer fling.
Nilsa doesn't want Kayla Jo to come over and become a new roommate. Her negative attitude, bashing of Kayla Jo, and decision to call her ex when she gets home angers Codi, who finally snaps. He calls her selfish, salty, and thinks she's only calling her ex-husband so he'll buy her new eyebrows. Codi lays it out that Jeremiah doesn't want to sleep with her and he'll never sleep with her. Aimee intervenes and the trio argues for a while. Nilsa continues to bad mouth Kayla Jo even though the girl apologizes again for the other night. All the drama creates a divide between Nilsa and Jeremiah, who no longer trusts her. An argument with the boys over chicken pushes Aimee and Nilsa closer. They both wanted better for their vacation. They bond over their feelings of wanting to call their exes when they're down. The group heads to dollar draft beer night, where everything is fine until a guy insults Nilsa and then a woman picks a fight with her. A huge brawl erupts between the roommates, the bar patrons, and random people. The event brings everyone the roommates together, solidifying their friendships.
Just as things are getting better, Kayla Jo comes over and Nilsa tries to "kill them with kindness." She's deeply offended when she learns Kayla Jo discarded the pizza slice Nilsa gave her. Pizza is sacred to her, after all. When she, Aimee, and Candace find out Kayla Jo's Wiccan, they begin bashing her and being dramatic. Jeremiah calls a house meeting to clear the air. Aimee insists it's just a joke. Jeremiah bears down on Nilsa being the one who is behind all of the drama. When she tries to talk he interrupts her, leading to a heated argument between the two. She bashes how he was raised and he loses his respect for her. The girls accuse Gus of being disrespectful to women all the time, which he takes personally because of his past. The next morning, Nilsa clears the air with Jeremiah and they hug it out. Jeremiah announces that his brother Josh is coming over for a few days. Nilsa wonders if he's hot, so Jeremiah offers his brother up.
The roommates go on a pontoon boat and bond the entire day. By the time Josh arrives, everyone is on good terms with each other. Nilsa finds Josh attractive and they flirt all day. They end up kissing in the club and hunching that night. Unfortunately, Nilsa doesn't remember most of the night because she's so drunk. Nilsa and Aimee head to brunch where they discuss Josh and the drama between Aimee, Kirk, and Codi that erupted the night before. Aimee gets emotional as she brings up how she wants someone who will genuinely like her. They both feel like their exes are as good as they're gonna get. She finally started to feel better about herself when they knocked her down again. Nilsa encourages the boys to make things right with Aimee, and they do. She organizes an Aimee Appreciation Day as a way to lift Aimee's spirits back up after such a hard few days.
Josh leaves on Aimee Appreciation Day, though Nilsa shifts her focus to making her best friend in the house feel special instead of wallowing in her feelings about Josh. The day is beautiful and Aimee feels better about herself by the end. The next day, Nilsa's friends Shana and Katrina visit the beach house. Josh calls Nilsa and asks her on a date for the next time he comes down, which she accepts. Gus and Jeremiah both find Katrina attractive, and make a friendly competition over who can get her. Codi tells Nilsa that Gus and Jeremiah have a bet on Katrina, with "his money" being on Gus. Nilsa hates that her friend is a bet and tells Katrina, who breaks down in tears. Jeremiah and Gus vehemently deny the bet allegation. Everything escalates back at the beach house when Nilsa outs Codi as the source of the betting rumor. They realize Codi is the root of the problem. However, the next morning, Codi learns his grandfather passed away. The roommates rally around him in support, with Jeremiah leading a nice prayer for the man. After Codi leaves, the remaining roommates decide to invite all their family over for a family day.
Josh comes back over and Nilsa hangs out with him in the pool. He asks her out on a date for that evening and she agrees. As they talk about their families, Nilsa admits she called her ex a few weeks ago. She called him because she thought she missed him but didn't. Afterward, Josh dumps Nilsa before their date because she called her ex a few weeks ago. Nilsa is devastated by the news as this was the first guy she liked since her ex. She decides to go home, though Aimee convinces her not too and they spend the day together out of the house. They return in time to leave for a club, where everyone gets drunk. Aimee decides to drunk call her ex and Nilsa joins in on the prank calling and badmouthing. This angers Kirk and things escalate quickly into a physical altercation. She punches walls, pushes Nilsa and Gus, and screams out her words. She breaks down in the bathroom in the arms of Nilsa and Gus.
The house is tense on family day because of the fight. Nilsa still has a fun time with her parents, though she ends up telling them about Josh. Her dad reminds her that she'll go through a lot of relationships before she finds the one. Her mom wants her to find herself right now. Ultimately, family day is fun, loud, full of laughter, some tears, and lots of drinks. Codi comes back late that night so Nilsa and Aimee surprise him by flashing their chi-chi's and booty, respectively. The next day, Jeremiah makes a low country boil that the roommates feast on inside. They decide to have a sleepover in the upstairs living room, which ends up being hilarious fun when Codi shows up in his American flag speedo.
The next morning is rainy and the roommates put-off getting up to pack and leave for as long as possible. The day is bittersweet as they say their goodbyes to one another. In confessionals, they recap their summers and how they feel leaving. Each one of them has grown as individuals and found great life-long friends. Nilsa and Kortni leave the beach house together. After the summer, Nilsa is still searching for the perfect BCFF (Barrel-Chested Freedom Fighter). She hasn't talked to Josh.

Since last season, Nilsa had finally gotten together with Gus...but not Gus Symnrios. She is in a happy relationship with Gus Gazda and had moved in with him at this point. Nilsa is also struggling with the loss of her dad, Todd Prowant, two months prior. Nilsa emotionally says that he had fell, hurting his stomach and due to COVID-19 protocols, the family was unable to see him. She is nervous about leaving for Montana because she doesn't want to be far from her family, especially so soon after her dad's death. She also had moved to Atlanta, so Kirk and Codi come visit her often. Before leaving for Montana, Nilsa takes a pregnancy test and it turns out to be positive. Nilsa is excited to tell the roommates, but now it means she can't drink the entire trip.

Aimee[]
Nilsa and Aimee are best friends. They understood each others emotional states as both were fresh out of serious relationships. Nilsa helped Aimee learn to love herself and be strong without her ex. They bonded exponentially between season one and two. They became best friends and roomed together. They have fought, partied, cried, and laughed together over the years. They remained close friends even after the series concluded.
Jeremiah[]
Nilsa was attracted to Jeremiah from the moment he entered the beach house, though he didn't initially pay her attention. She chased him for a while and liked that he wasn't chasing her back. Nilsa had a short-lived competition for Jeremiah's attention, as he liked Kortni instead.
Gus[]
Gus and Nilsa have a long history together that began when they moved into the beach house. They had a crush on each other, though Gus looked to settle down while Nilsa just wanted to have fun. She pursued their other roommate and Gus's closest guy friend Jeremiah instead. Gus was hurt that Nilsa blew him off after he paid for their date.
Candace[]
Nilsa and Candace were fast friends in the first season, where they often gossiped with each other. They rarely fought with each other, except for one time while in St. Pete over the room situation. Nilsa would sometimes try to have Candace's back, because Candace has expressed how she doesn't feel like no one is in her corner.
Kirk[]
Nilsa and Kirk are close friends, and when Nilsa moved to Atlantic City, Kirk would often go to her house to check up on her.
Kortni[]
Kortni was Nilsa's only friend going into the house, as they were both PCB locals. Nilsa learned a lot about Kortni during their first vacation, including the fact that the sheltered girl was crazy. Nilsa didn't want Kortni's crazy reputation to affect her and put distance thre in the first season. She also briefly competed with Kortni for Jeremiah's attention, though Kortni didn't really care either way. Their feud didn't last long and they were back to being friendly.
Codi[]
Nilsa and Codi are good friends are often seen getting naked running around the beach or skinny dipping in the pool.
