Antonio "Nino" Giaimo[1], also known as Uncle Nino, is Vinny Guadagnino's wild uncle. Nino is a party animal and often shows up randomly, mostly to annoy his nephew. He is Paola Giaimo's brother.

Nino has been through it all, and although he's known as the "crazy uncle", his lends his knowledge and life experiences to Vinny and the roommates when needed.

Jersey Shore: Family Vacation[]

Season 1[]

Season 2[]

Nino comes to Mike and Laurens wedding. He is in his element with beautiful women, wine, and expensive things all around him. He makes things awkward by confronting Jen about her abusive relationship with Ron. He goes on about how Ron is a beautiful soul, a great guy, and loves only Jen. She gets increasingly more annoyed by his insistence and him bringing up TMZ. She tells him it's fake news, but he doesn't believe it. He asks why she beats him up and she tells Nino to ask Ron instead. She's visibly angry when she learns Ron went to Nino for advice. Jen can barely understand him. She gets up from the table to get away from Nino. She tells a nearby Deena and Chris not to let Nino near her baby.

Season 3[]

Vinny strips at Chippendales in Vegas and doesn't want his family to come see him perform. Paola insists on coming but promises not to bring Nino. Pauly decides to fly Nino to Vegas for Vinny's opening night in Prank War Champion style. Nino shows up in his speedo, cane, and white tank-top. He walks on stage after the big ending number and does his version of a strip.

Uncle Nino attends Angelina and Chris's wedding. Jenni believes Angelina's grandmother is cursing her or knows something bad, so she asks Nino to fix it for her in exchange for a dance. Nino goes over and charms the grandmother. He's one of few people to find the speech funny.

Season 4[]

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Nino often shows up in Vinny's backyard in a swimsuit to suntan or be in the pool. Vinny chases him away each time - even when he rings the doorbell. A few months later, the roommates are doing a lockdown vacation in Vegas, and decide to throw Angelina and Chris a wedding redo. They invite Nino down to be the officiant and put Ronnie in charge of watching him.[1]

Several months later, the roommates are in the Poconos for another family vacation. They decide to have a wrestling match with Zack, who is a professional wrestler. Vinny invites Nino to the Poconos to be the announcer. Which isn't great because no one can understand what he says.

Season 5[]

Mike gets rebaptized by Uncle Nino.[3] He also makes a surprise appearance in San Diego and gives Angelina some advice on how to deal with her divorce.

Season 6[]

Nino pays a visit to the Poconos to welcome Sammi back and celebrate her birthday.

Season 7[]

Uncle Nino planned to attend Vinny's strip show in Atlantic City with Paola and her friends. Vinny lied that it was canceled so they wouldn't come. The next day, Nino showed up at the inaugural Jersey Shore Day where he went on stage to cheers from fans. Vinny, who usually wasn't happy to see Nino because he's weird, was actually happy about it for once.

Notes and Trivia[]

  • He got ordained for Angelina and Chris's wedding redo.
