"Yeah buddy!"
Family Vacation opening

Paul Michael DelVecchio, nicknamed "DJ Pauly D" (born July 5, 1980) is an American television personality and professional DJ. He is best known as one of the main cast members on the MTV reality show Jersey Shore since its premiere in 2009, its spin-off series The Pauly D Project, and the sequel series, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. He made three guest appearances in the spin-off series, Snooki & JWoww.

Jersey Shore[]

Season 1[]

Pauly D is introduced as the hair-obsessed, tanning fanatic DJ from Rhode Island. He immediately clicks with Mike and the two form a partnership easy on. The oldest of the crew, Pauly D mixes business with pleasure, never failing to show up for work at the T-shirt shop, but always active on the party scene, whether it be mixing tracks in the DJ booth or playing wing-man to Mike while in the hot tub with the ladies. His hook-ups included rejecting Snooki's drunk advances, but spending time in his bed with J-WOWW, making it slightly uncomfortable when her long-time boyfriend Tom comes to visit. Pauly D along with Mike lead the household in hook-ups, bringing home different girls every night, much to the disgust of the girl roommates. But Pauly D is not only an experienced DJ and ladies man, he is a skilled firefighter. After nearly blowing up the propane tank on the barbecue grill, Pauly saves the day

Mike and Pauly seal their brotherhood when Pauly attempts to take the "grenade" for Mike. The boys view hooking up with women as a battle. And in battle, there are obstacles like grenades. The grenade in this instance was the non-attractive friend of Mike's very attractive date. Pauly does his best to entertain the annoying and restless guest, but fails and throws in the towel, retiring to his bedroom. Unfortunately for Mike, the grenade completely bombed him-interrupting his hot and heavy session with his date. As for Pauly, he can say as a friend that he tried.

As Season 1 wraps, Pauly even gets his first stalker, a girl named Danielle he hooked up with that apparently won't let it go. From following him on the boardwalk to harassing him with strange phone calls, the girl doesn't give up. The quacking duck phone calls forced the roommates to take the phone off the hook for the night, something unheard of before. Although somewhat scared, this game player is accustomed to clingers and eventually is attracted to her crazy personality. Nevertheless, Pauly D ends the season as he started: single, tan, and hair perfectly intact.

Season 2[]

Pauly was revved up for season 2. Mike and him had a road trip to Miami, and were once again first to reach and first to choose which beds. Angelina shares a room with them! He gets lots of girls throughout the season and gets slapped by Angelina when she gets drunk. He also was one of the roommates that were trying to stop the brawl of episode 7.He was a man of peace in some cases until it came up to the brawl at one of the clubs in Jersey Shore where some a**h*** pushed Vinnie and DJ Pauly D was not going to stand for that so he punk the kid back. Afterwards DJ Pauly D, Vinnie and Mike "The Situation" find some "Grenades" that shortly follow after them, and they head back to the house to smash but that didn't happen!! They all were left unsatisfied.

Season 4

On Season 3 of Jersey Shore , Pauly finds a stalker from Season 1 named Danielle and gets into a confrontation with her. She ends up throwing a drink in his face . Pauly D had the best time of his life on Season 3. He's tried to live his life, especially with his Grenade Whistle.

Season 4[]

The cast goes to Italy, and like always it's a race to who gets to the house first. The boys end up winning and now Pauly is ready to have fun and party. Pauly and Vinny end up rooming with Deena. Deena is set on smushing Pauly during the trip, but he refuses because he only sees her as a friend. It doesn't take long for the trip to end up in drama, but it involves Vinny, Pauly and Deena. Vinny is upset at Deena for pulling the "robbery" on him with a girl, even though she was making out with her first. Pauly backed Vinny's side of the argument, and they decided to pull a prank on her by putting her bed out in the hallway. Deena is already struggling mentally and emotionally during the trip, so Jenni makes them hash it out. Pauly accuses Deena of changing and becoming overally sensitive, and says she used to be able to take their jokes. However, he does add that he knows his pranks can be a little much and he wish she would've said she was struggling so that he would back off. After the fight, they end up cooling everything but when Nicole and Mike have a massive fight, Pauly steps in and tries to make the situation better but to no avail. The same thing happened with the fight between Mike and Ronnie.

Season 5[]

When Vinny is feeling homesick and in a funk, Pauly does his best to cheer up his best friend. Despite his efforts, it’s not enouh and Vinny decides to go home briefly. Additionally, since he didn't tan while in Italy, Pauly overdoes his tanning and burnt his face.

Jersey Shore: Family Vacation[]

Season 1[]

In the five years since Jersey Shore, Pauly catapulted in his career as a DJ and toured the country. He was almost always in a club DJing or flying to a new venue. He kept a residence in Vegas not far from Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, though the pair didn't see each other much because of their schedules. He was eager to start the Miami trip and was the first to learn that Ronnie was going to be a father - with a girl Pauly had never met. Pauly had also learned he was a father between seasons, to a girl named Amabella.

Pauly and Ronnie road tripped together to Miami, where they reunited with the roomies for the first time in years. But Pauly didn't arrive empty-handed. In pure Prank War Champion style, Pauly surprised the fam with the "Sam doll", meant to fill in for the missing Sammi Sweetheart. The doll was complete with a t-shirt that said "I'm in a really good place" (Sam's reason for not joining the series), a voice box with her catchphrases installed, and a brunette wig. Because Mike couldn't make it the first night because of his court hearing, Pauly and the roomies had their first night in Miami without him. [3]

Mike came the second day and they went out for a nice to dinner celebrate being together and welcomed the new and improved Mike to the house.

Things went well for the group, aside from Ronnie clogging all the toilets in the house. On the third night, Vinny confronted Nicole about never being able to be near him. The situation escalated into a fight between them, and spiraled into a fight with Jenni when she tried to smooth things over. Nicole was worried all the talk about her past relationship with Vinny would "ruin her marriage" with Jionni. She packed her things and planned to leave until Pauly talked to her. He knew she needed some "Pauly D Positivity" and brought her a glass of wine. She realized after their talk that she would regret leaving and had to handle things with Vinny. Pauly even got Jenni for her and the girls friendship was mended. [4]

Jenni tried to play matchmaker at the club for Pauly, as he was the only single one in the house. Her plan backfired when Ronnie brought the girls back too. Pauly, Ronnie, and Vinny got in the hot tub with four girls, which Pauly joked was the "best day of his life." Pauly later interrupted Ron's "conversation" with one of the girls in his bathroom as it wasn't worth it. [5]

Ronnie later thanked Pauly for it. In the morning, Pauly set-up a yacht for the whole family - which included Ron and Nicole who spiraled the night before. Pauly and Vinny rode jet skis together. After, Mike revealed to the roomies that he wanted to propose to Lauren. Ron, however, wasn't interested in marriage yet and neither was Jen.

Once back that the house, Ron tried to call Jen but couldn't get through. The boys realized someone could have taken a picture at the club. There were paps there too. Mike learned from Lauren that there was an Instagram account dedicated to their night at the club which included videos of Ronnie dancing with the girl in a see-through black dress. He told Pauly and Vinny. Pauly dubbed Ronnie the president of the IFF - I'm Fucked Foundation. [6]

While Ronnie tried to deny that he didn't do anything, the guys explained what happened. Vinny insisted that he flirted the line and Jen would eventually see it. Ronnie called Jen and she answered, though he quickly ratted himself out. Pauly and Vinny watched in horror and ate fake popcorn.

Vinny, Pauly, and Jenni went to the barber the next day so the boys could get their very specific looks. That night, the boys night was crashed by Deena, and they had fun until it was meatball down twice. The guys, primarily Vinny, had to contain her so she didn't roll away. Deena spiraled in the cab as the boys tried to keep her energy up. She blamed Vinny for her falls.

The morning after was dedicated to "gym, tan, laundry, haircut" to fix Vinny's jacked-up haircut. Pauly and Ronnie went for lunch where Pauly asked Ronnie if he planned to propose to Jen. The only ring he planned to buy were teething rings. Pauly didn't think he would love anything more than himself until he met his daughter. Pauly tried to teach him that he didn't have to make his relationship with Jen work in order to be an amazing father. His relationship with his baby mama was so rocky in the beginning but they got over it and now it's the best thing that ever happened to him. Ronnie could relate to Pauly's situation more than the others "picket fence lives."

Pauly and Vinny cleaned up the Sam doll and replaced her head in preparation for Jen's arrival. Ron continued his bickering with Mike, which was hidden behind jokes and roasts. He planned to tell Jen about everything once he got home. [7]

When Jen arrived, the roommates sat for family dinner. Jenni asked if Jen wanted to get married and Ronnie answered that they were taking things slow. During dinner, the jokes about Mike loving dessert led to roasts with him and Ron. Mike insisted people "call him by his government" and Jen jabbed it was "The Incarceration". Offended, Mike asked someone to pass the French fries. Ron and Jen went outside for a bit. Pauly felt she should have warmed up to the family first before dropping the bombshell. Mike knew the only reason Jen said "The Incarceration" was because it came out of Ron's mouth first. Pauly joked they should all write a note.

The roommates headed to Eleven, a strip club. Pauly watched Vinny tow the line of what he could do while being in a relationship outside of the Shorehouse. Vinny wanted to save the stripper and Jenni watched him carry her away then back again. Once home, Pauly looked after Jenni who was very drunk. Vinny, Pauly, Deena, and Nicole ragged on Vinny for carrying a stripper at the club. He ran down to drunk call Elicea to tell her everything that happened, much to the amusement of Pauly and the roomies.

Pauly and Mike went to the gym and on the ride home, Mike vented about Jen coming for him the minute she was in the house. Mike told Pauly about what happened when the Feds caught him about to go to Spain. He was frustrated with his situation, which included a phone call every week and a drug test. Once home, Pauly loudly woke up Ronnie and Jen in classic Pauly D style. Everyone headed to the beach, and Pauly played with Vinny.

MVP headed out to Mokai that night, the scene of Ronnie's crimes, while Ronnie went out on a nice date with Jen. Pauly teased Vinny the whole night about him cheating on Elicea. He kept up the antics at home when Vinny called his girlfriend. Pauly crafted The Explanation Chain completed with a picture of Vinny on an iPad attached to his gold chain. [8]

While getting ready to go out, Jenni gave Ronnie a hard dose of reality when she reminded him that she used to be Ron - the ho in a relationship. But she chose not to be when she found someone she loved. She told Ron to own his shit. Pauly agreed that if he found a good girl he'd be committed. Ronnie didn't know if he found the right girl yet. He didn't tell Jen about the bathroom because he didn't want her to be embarrassed. Jenni knew she would be embarrassed anyway when she found out. She reminded him of Miami last time, when he did the same thing and tried to cover it up. The only difference was the girl lived with them and wasn't pregnant. He insisted that he was done with the shit and wanted to move on from his one mistake by himself. She drilled in that in three months, when his daughter is born, he will not want what he is in his daughter's life. The two continued to argue and lob accusations back and forth. Pauly reminded him not to force what he had with Jen because of the kid. She hugged Ronnie after.

The roommates headed back to Eleven to try again without a pregnant lady. Jenni got a lap dance from one of the strippers and cozied up to them, which blew Ron's mind and impressed Pauly. Pauly lived it up at the club and he dubbed it his favorite place on Earth. Despite that, he told the roommates he didn't want to date a stripper and wanted to get married. He had yet to hook up with anyone since being in Miami.

Nicole hatched a plan with the rest of the roommates, primarily Deena and Vinny, to go out and have everyone find a girl for Pauly. They presented the idea to him in the morning and he loved the idea of being The Bachelor for a day. He doubted they could find what he wanted when he had been looking for it his whole life. They struck out the first night, so Ronnie decided to buy inflatable blue balls for everyone. This started the Guido Olympics.

MVP headed to Mokai again, and Pauly partied it up with the girls Vinny brought into the VIP area. He nearly crossed a line with the bottle girls, and VP went a little too hard. Mike made sure to get both boys back home safely.

In the morning, Jenni found phone numbers in the iTouch the boys brought with them last night. Vinny called his girl to fess up what he did last night. His logic was that he didn't get a girls number, he got two, so that made it okay. The roommates divided and conquered for Operation: Find Pauly D Some Love Today. They failed epically and decided to make him a dessert to apologize. Mike accidentally ruined the surprise when he blurted out their plan. To make up for it, they pretended to have found him "Victoria" and a wigged-up, dressed-up Vinny emerged in a bronzed wig. Pauly lifted up Victoria and claimed him as his perfect man.

Vinny tried again to make things right with Elicea, and Pauly listened in and tried to give advice - it wasn't taken. [9]

When Nicole and Jenni decided to go home to see their kids, the guys were left in the house with Deena. They wanted to do a guys weekend and decided to surprise her with a trip to see Chris. Ron suggested they tell her in a note. They presented it to her in the most dramatic way possible. Ron's note was written like a five year old so they presented her with a second note that said she was going to Jersey with the girls.

Now alone, the boys headed out to party at Mokai. They found who they dubbed a "mini-Sammi" and Pauly brought her back, though Ron claimed he didn't see the resemblance. When Vinny went to bed and Pauly hooked up with fake Sam, Ronnie called a cab to get fake Sam out of there. In the morning, Ron and Mike went round three with their roast battle, which delighted Pauly and Vin. They headed to see exotics cars, ate their expensive cheeses, and test drove one of the cars. In a confessional, Pauly acknowledged that being around the cars must be hard for Mike, who had his taken away.

To see if Mike really changed, Pauly decided to call Angelina and restart the prank wars. He pitched it to Ronnie and Vinny as a way for Ronnie to get the last laugh in the roast battles. He also wanted to stir things up in the peaceful house. He waited all evening to give Angelina the go-ahead to knock on the front door, which the boys arranged for Mike to answer. Mike was stunned to see her and everyone hailed Pauly for the next-level prank.

They sat for dinner and Angelina confronted Mike for blocking him. He blocked her for lying that they slept together and that he had a small "peesh". He accepted her apology and apologized for his behavior in his 20s. They toasted and the girls arrived with liquor and were shocked speechless at the sight of Angelina. [10]

Jennie had Ron take her, Nicole, and Deena's bags upstairs, where they confronted him about Angelina being there. Pauly came up with the rest of the roommates and denied that it was him who brought her. He later fessed up and the girls weren't happy about his prank. Pauly watched Angelina, Jenni, and Nicole argue. He held Vinny and Deena as they watched together. He later scared Deena and chanted he was the prank war champion all over the house, waking everyone up in the middle of the night.

Pauly woke up Vinny and went boxing with Mike, Vinny, and Jennie. Pauly wanted to give Angelina a chance to make it in the house with the rest of them. Later, during a family meeting, everyone agreed to give Angelina a third chance. Everyone went to bed early except Ronnie, Nicole, and Denna. Pauly got a banana bag in the morning with the rest of the hungover roommates.

He called a family meeting to discuss Angelina, as he kind of pranked himself. He was glad they got to know her a bit and have here there for a bit, but everyone agreed they wanted to end it just the seven of them. The roommates were eager to see how things would be outside of the house. They nominated Jenni as the one to do the toast at dinner that night. [11]

Angelina took the news well and agreed to leave the next day. To celebrate her last night, they raged with shots at a club. Angelina left a wild last impression on her final night when she accidentally took a dump in her pants. She later said it was a period shit, much to everyone's confusion. Pauly begged her to be fake instead of real. In the morning, Angelina left on a positive note. Pauly, Mike, and Vinny pranked her by putting her luggage in trash bags with a trash bag carpet, and toilet paper on the top.

Jenni wanted a vacation from the vacation, and the roommates decided to take a boat to one of the surrounding islands; the Bahamas. They fed stingrays, went snorkeling (Pauly kept his blowout above water), and explored a ship. The roommates planned to go out for a dinner, though Mike had ordered room service and kept them waiting. This got to Jenni who yelled at Mike. The roommates ultimately left without him, though Mike made it in the knick of time.

Once back at in Miami, the roommates were surprised by Vinny's mother and Uncle Nino who had arrived earlier that morning in search of Vinny. [12]

The family sat for a four course meal served by Paula and had a taste of home. Vinny quickly drew a comparison between Ronnie and Uncle Nino. Vinny, Pauly, Mike, and Ronnie sat outside and tried to roast Uncle Nino. Nino wanted a coconut, so Ronnie grabbed one off the trees. Opening the coconut was the entertainment of the night.

The next day after Paola and Nino went home, Mike got help from the roommates on how to propose. They came up with having the proposal there. Pauly offered to DJ the whole thing, the roommates would decorate the back yard, and it would happen. The ring was delivered and everyone crowded around to see it.

They went for a family meeting over lunch to plan everything. Pauly picked up on weird tension between them, and cited it back to the Bahama's when she snapped on him. Jenni took charge because she didn't want Lauren to have a regular proposal. In the car, Mike mentioned the shade he got from Jenni. Pauly reminded him it was his moment and not to let anyone ruin it. The boys headed for haircuts while Pauly reminisced on Mike's old ways - which included having two girls over at the same time and keeping them on opposite side of the house. Mike mentioned the grenades they diffused. Mike had a prank brewing to get revenge on a shady Jenni, and Ronnie didn't think it was a good idea. People only prank Jenni when they wanted jail time.

Lauren arrived that night and greeted all the roommates. Pauly could tell how happy they were with each other. They all headed to dinner and Vinny asked about her visit. Pauly could tell Mike was really, really happy. Once at Sugar Factory, Pauly took photos of the happy couple. He watched as Jenni unloaded on Mike as she found out about his plan to pie her. He apologized profusely and genuinely, so they hugged it out.[13]

The roommates had their last family dinner and recounted their favorite moments. Snooki loved her spiral moments with Ronnie, even though she didn't remember most of it. Pauly loved being a Prank War Champion with Angelina, though it was the best and worst prank ever. Through that, he realized how much of a family they all were. Vinny loved it when his mom and Uncle Nino visited. He threw it back to when he poured champagne on a girls head for Deena. Jenni loved the little moments, like when Vinny dressed as Victoria. Mike loved just coming down there and being part of everything after not being sure if he could. Ronnie was blessed to have all seven of them in his life and was glad Sam didn't come, so they got to see him for who he is without the relationship. Mike and Ron bickered and Mike called Ron out for getting hammered that night, though the girls quickly called him out for judging.

Jenni asked why Mike said that Ron needed rehab, which shocked everyone. Ronnie accused Mike of making partying his whole life. Ron and Mike went at it verbally as Jenni encouraged them to air it out. Mike reminded Ron of his phone call two weeks before they got to the house where he said he needed rehab. Ron denied it, as he said he needed help. His rehab would be different than Mike's rehab. Pauly hid under the table as the two lobbed insults and shouted at each other. In the end, they agreed to disagree.

The next morning, Pauly got a call from his agent Yoni with an offer for him to DJ in Miami at Eleven. Pauly and Ronnie went to Eleven early to set up, talk to the club owner, and record content for social media. He talked to Pauly about his impending responsibilities and fear. Pauly understood his freak-out over not having the "perfect family" but knew it was bullshit, because there was no image of a perfect family. Pauly wanted him to get it right and not jump into a relationship without being fixed himself. Pauly felt he was thrown into the water not knowing how to swim, and was alone, so he would be there whenever Ron needed him.

The roommates headed for their last night in Miami. Eleven sent a party bus for them, and they turned-up inside. Pauly rocked the DJ booth and brought the party to life. Pauly gave his Jersey Shore roommates a shoutout. When Jenni looked over at the booth, she saw Pauly's stalker from seaside, Vanessa. They shouted to Pauly to warn him, and she admitted she came to see him. He couldn't figure out if she was a stalker or a super supporter; she even had a Pauly D tattoo.

Pauly woke everyone up in the morning with his signature "wake up, yeah!" and rode last nights DJ high. Vinny asked Pauly how he handled being in a relationship, and Pauly thought he did well. Vinny revealed while making breakfast that he planned to break up with his girlfriend - for Pauly. He dropped to one knee and asked him to be his boyfriend again, and Pauly accepted. Vinny added later that he wasn't breaking up with his girlfriend, and Pauly knew. Everyone sat for breakfast and talked about their plans after the house. They agreed they wanted to do more vacations together. They toasted to Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.

Everyone gathered in the living room to say goodbye with a group hug, as Pauly declared for the last time that "the cabs are here!" Pauly was excited to go home to his little girl, but worried about Ronnie and his emotions. He was glad they both lived in Vegas so Ron could come to Pauly if he needed him. [14]

Season 2[]

Pauly visited Ronnie and baby Ariana. He held her and called her a peanut. Pauly remarked this was the happiest he's ever since Ronnie, and he was a great dad already. Nicole talked to Pauly, who just met the baby, and she was jealous. He wanted to get everyone out there to meet the baby and have a vacay that he'll organize.

Media articles of Ronnie and Jen's explosive social media fights were shown, including some of their Instagram posts, as audio of the fights played in the background.

Ronnie said goodbye to Ariana and handed her to Jen. Pauly picked him up for the vacation. He wondered which version of Ron he was about to get.

Pauly and Ronnie arrived at Planet Hollywood. Pauly wanted his roommates to stay his house, but he saw how they treated shore houses, so they're doing Planet Hollywood with a huge suite. They saw their lavish suite and settled in when Mike and Vinny arrived. They admired the stripper pole in the living room shower. Mike loved the complimentary food. He was thick and tried to get in shape for the wedding - but it wasn't happening yet.

The boys headed for dinner and a strip club. Mike ordered just about everything on the menu. Pauly asked if Ron had been on social media lately. Vinny had never been to dinner with an Instagram celebrity. Things quickly got awkward and silent. Vinny asked what it was about. Ronnie was good right now and so was his relationship, as they worked on stuff. It was a lot of bad decisions and them looking for more problems. He learned from it and it won't happen again. In confessionals, Pauly was confused because two days ago he posted about "single Ronnie" and today he's all peaches. Ronnie came back to the table and told the boys he didn't want to go to a strip club. He was down for anything else. Once in a lounge, the guys hounded Ronnie for not going to the strip club, and Ronnie deflected with a roast about Mike's shirt.

In the morning, the guys woke up and Pauly hoped they wouldn't have any more chill nights. Pauly, Mike, and Vinny tried to figure out Ronnie and Jen. Ronnie came in the room to tell them that Jen would come to the room later with the baby.

Nicole and Jenni walked down the hall and the boys heard them in the hall. They all reunited and Pauly picked up Nicole. Vinny was glad to have the girls back, as it was a true family vacation now. The guys filled the girls in on Ronnie not going to the strip club. Jenni wasn't buying it. Pauly thought Nicole would show up with the dirty little hamster, which annoyed Jenni. Nicole admitted she did invite Angelina since Deena couldn't come. She realized she forgot to tell Jenni about the invite. Jenni needed a chew toy while Nicole needed entertainment.

Jenni refused to sleep in the same room as Angelina. She was mad Nicole invited Angelina without asking her. The boys watched the fountain and the roommates headed out for their first night together. They caught up with each other. Mike talked about his love life with Lauren. Ronnie went to the bathroom so Jenni asked how he was last night. He was great but weird for him. Nicole hoped he would express his emotions and tell them what happened. Ron came back and told them that Jen would be in the suite with the baby.

Jen and the baby arrived, there to visit before they left town for a wedding. Ron was excited for Ariana to grow up around the roommates kids and be part of the family. The roommates all met Ariana and held her. Nicole helped Mike hold a baby for the first time ever. Ariana curled into Vinny's neck, and he told Pauly it was time for them to have a baby. Ron and Jen opened the presents while they talked about how great Ron had been so far. Pauly, in a confessional, admitted their "everything's good" act didn't feel genuine.

The roomies said bye to Ariana and Jen, who Ron walked down. Everything was so real now for the roommates and Mike hoped Ron wasn't wearing a mask this time. Just holding the baby put everything in perspective for them, especially Vinny. [15]

Season 3[]

Pauly is DJing around the world now and has a residency in Vegas and Atlantic City. With Vinny in Vegas for his upcoming Chippendales premiere, Pauly, Vinny, and Ronnie reconnect for the first time since Ronnie's out of rehab. Ronnie insists everything is good now and he's single. Pauly later flies to Jersey to visit Mike in prison with Vinny. Ronnie throws his daughter Ariana a one-year-old birthday party and invites everyone. Pauly can't attend because of his DJ gig, but makes sure Ariana feels the love from Uncle Pauly with lollipops featuring sticker faces of him and a toy car for her to ride in.

A few weeks later, the roommates, minus a pregnant Nicole and imprisoned Mike, fly to Vegas for Vinny's opening night. Vinny hurts his ankle playing basketball and has to use a scooter to rest it. Pauly gets him a motorized cart with an I <3 Pauly license plate. Vinny's mom flies in to support him. Things go great for Vin and he brings Jenni on-stage with him to do a provocative segment, has Angelina on-stage, and ends the night when the Prank War Champion brings Uncle Nino on-stage. After the event, Pauly needs to see some women so the group, minus a sober Ron, go to the female strip club. Ron decides to go back to the hotel to protect his sobriety. For the past few days, Jenni and Angelina were in talks with Jen who alleges that Ron hasn't been home. Jenni invites her to the strip club against everyone's better judgment. Pauly, who doesn't believe anything Jen says and respects his brother, texts Ron to let him know that Jen is there. He then bounces for his next gig; successfully dodging the drama that follows the rest of the trip.

Season 4[]

Pauly and the boys try to mend the relationships between Angelina and the girls after the wedding speech. His new girlfriend, Nikki Hall has moved in with him and they've been quarantining together. While in Vegas, Pauly is having Nikki come on the vacation so she can properly meet the roommates. However, he wants to make sure Deena and Angelina will be civil and eat at the same table together, which both agree to. He and the other boys are ecstatic when they see the two girls had a talk and are moving forward from the speech.

Season 5[]

Pauly goes back out on tour after nearly two years being shut down for the COVID-19 pandemic. He worries about bringing Nikki along because of how different things will be. Nikki is fine with going with him for the tour, so he agrees to give it a try.

When Angelina and Nikki get into a wine fight, Pauly immediately comes to his girl's defense and out comes a very rare side of him. He angrily busts down the door to the confessional room where Angelina was hiding and angrily demands she apologizes. The three of them were able to patch it up the next day, and they decide to prank the other roommates into thinking their talk didn't go well. He then says he honestly wasn't expecting Angelina to apologize at all.

Pauly teases Vinny throughout Vin Day as they do his ridiculous and boring activities.

Season 6[]

Pauly pulls an alien invasion prank, which puts most of the roommates in hysterics. He brings the Sammi doll to Orlando so she can meet the real Sammi "Sweetheart". He then pranks Sam by putting merchandise of The Note all over her hotel suite.

When Ron is about to return, Pauly brings up how his actions could've forced the show to end.

Season 7[]

Pauly opens up having a hemorrhage while in Nashville and ended up having to be rushed to the hospital. Nikki quickly flew over to be with him.

Nikki later makes her official return to the series in 7B, and Pauly books a gig to DJ at a sporting event.

Career[]

Prior to his appearance on Jersey Shore, Pauly was a DJ in Rhode Island, performing at Bat Mitzvah's, proms, weddings, birthday parties, and had secured a steady line-up at clubs when he was hired on Jersey Shore. He rose to fame in the MTV original series Jersey Shore. The six season aired from 2009-2012. He utilized the televised the series to promote his DJing and quickly became a legitimate DJ in the eyes of the industry. Following his reality TV stint, Pauly went on to become one of the biggest DJs in the country. He had a residency in Vegas and other major cities. His success brought him a three-album deal with 50 Cent's labels, in which he released three singles from 2012-2016.

He starred in the first Jersey Shore spin-off titled The Pauly D Project, which followed his DJ career around America. It lasted for one season before its cancellation.

In 2016 Pauly was a contestant on the love-based reality show Famously Single, where he met his girlfriend Audrey O'Day. Two years later in 2018, Pauly joined Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars to fix his toxic partnership with Audrey O'Day. It didn't work.

Also in 2018, Pauly, Deena, Ronnie, and Nicole were featured in an episode of Fear Factor against the Floribama Shore cast.

Pauly was a co-host and start of Double Shot at Love with Vinny Guadagnino, where the two famous bachelors tried to find love in a house of 20 women. They did two seasons of the series before it ended, as Pauly had found love with one of the contestants, Nikki Hall. They are currently planning a follow-up special titled "DJ Pauly D and Vinny's Vegas Pool Party".

Pauly co-hosted Revenge Prank in 2020 with Vinny Guadagnino. It ended after three episodes because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Relationships[]

Snooki[]

Pauly loves Snooki like a little sister. At one point off screen, they shared a kiss in Miami but they never saw each other as more than friends.

Vinny[]

Vinny is Pauly's best friend. The two got close over the course of the series, and referred to each other as "boyfriends". Pauly often teases Vinny for being a momma's boy, refusing to eat carbs, being single at 36, and much more, although it's all in good fun. Their bromance was often highlighted within the shows and another major draw to the show.

Jenni[]

Jenni and Pauly are nicknamed P-Woww. They had a fun connection when they met. They were attracted to each other and they made out, despite the fact she had a boyfriend at the time. They started to hook-up in the Shore House but, after seeing his penis, she called it off. They also kissed in a club and danced together. She went home before anything major happened. They always had a flirtatious relationship that became a tight-knit friendship. Jenni would do anything to protect Pauly, even once threatening to punch Angelina after she hit Pauly. They remained close friends for years, with the possibility of something happening between them always lingering in the background. During the NOLA trip 10-years later, Jenni was divorced from Roger while Pauly was single. He admitted in a drunk confessional that he wanted to sleep with her. She said later that night that she wanted to sleep with him too. All the cast members rooted for them to get together. They flirted a lot during this time, but ultimately, loved each other too much to ruin things. he didn't want to disrespect her. They are currently close friends - both are in serious relationships with other people.

Mike[]

Pauly and Mike were the first two people to enter the house and they became fast friends.

Sammi[]

Sammi and Pauly had a pretty casual friendship, but they weren't seen hanging out together as much, unless they were in a big group.

Ronnie[]

Ronnie and Pauly became closer once they both lived in Las Vegas. Pauly often would try to give Ron advice on his relationship with Jen, urging him to leave but rarely does he get through to Ron.

Deena[]

Deena had a major attraction towards Pauly, especially in Season 4. However, her feelings weren’t returned, Pauly's reasoning being he doesn’t want to ruin their friendship.

Angelina[]

Angelina is one of the few people that has truly seen Pauly's wrath. Usually they have a decent relationship, and he often pokes fun at her.
