Season 6 of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation premiered on January 26, 2023. The first half ran until May 25, 2023, while the back half premiered on August 3, 2023. After 11 years, former cast mate, Sammi Giancola, makes her official return to the franchise this season. Her return was teased in the Spring finale.
Background[]
On December 22, 2022, it was announced that the sixth season would premiere on January 26, 2023. The season filmed in various locations across the country including New Jersey, New York City, North Carolina, South Carolina, Connecticut, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, and New Orleans. Season 6 highlights Guadagnino competing on the thirty-first season of Dancing with the Stars. On March 11, 2023, it was announced that former castmate, Sammi Giancola would be returning to the series for the second half of the sixth season. Her return was teased at the end of the Spring finale. The back half of the season saw trips to the Poconos and Orlando, Florida. The season focused on Sammi's return and learning the new dynamics of the group, Angelina learning the truth about her estranged father, and Ronnie's return and his attempts to make amends with the cast after his arrest for domestic violence.

- Along with Sammi's return, the Spring finale also confirmed that Ronnie would appear.
- Sammi is confirmed to appear in multiple episodes.
- Not counting Angelina's cameos in the last two seasons of Jersey Shore, this season would mark the first time all nine cast mates would appear together, although it is unknown if Ronnie and Sammi will come into contact with each other.
- It was confirmed by Sammi that she did see Ronnie. However, Snooki later clarified that Sammi did not film with him this season.
- This would also mark the first time Angelina, Deena, and Sammi are together in one house.

- Season 6B's premiere helped boost MTV’s Thursday primetime rating more than 300% over its previous weekly average to become the best season premiere for Jersey Shore Family Vacation in more than four years.[2]
- 6B also brought the franchise its highest ratings and best share in two years, up 2% and 1%, respectively, over the previous season.[2]
