Season 7 of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation began filming as of September 2023, and premiered on February 8, 2024. The second half of the season premiered on September 19, 2024 and ended on January 23, 2025.

Following last season's shocking return of OG fan favorite Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola, the infamous exes will finally reunite when Ronnie Ortiz-Magro joins the "Shore" family trip in Nashville. But the legendary family vacation doesn't stop there, with the Mayor of Atlantic City honoring the gang, "MVP" trying to find zen in Tucson, and the group returning to where it all started, Seaside Heights. This season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation will bring shocking revelations, explosive confrontations, and reunions years in the making.[1]

After a shocking first half of season 7, where Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro reunited for the first time in over a decade— this second installment promises to be the most revealing yet. From the sandy shores to the neon lights of Sin City, the squad is taking fans on a rollercoaster of emotions as they navigate life's biggest milestones – from parenthood and adoption to engagements and heartbreaks.
In classic “Shore” style, the gang will face unexpected challenges while creating unforgettable memories on their family vacations. Undergoing the ultimate test of preparing for the apocalypse to experiencing the thrill of the “Big Game” in Las Vegas, they leave no stone unturned. They will also revisit the iconic energy of New York City and have some nostalgic fun in Miami.[2]

Background
On September 21, 2023, Ronnie commented on returning and said he would like to come back full-time in future episodes or seasons. He liked the break from the show and was doing well now.[4] A day later, Vinny confirmed that the show was trying to bring him back in "here and there", but production would only agree if Ron was fully out of his drama.[5]
During an interview on September 28, 2023, Nicole confirmed they just started filming for season seven.[6]
The season renewal was officially announced on December 7, 2023, as a result of the series having reached its highest ratings in season six.[7] The first half of the season focused on Angelina's journey with her biological father, Mike's book release, Vinny's new Chippendales Residency, and Ronnie and Sammi's reunion after several years. The season also highlighted the mayor of Atlantic City recognizing September 22 as "Jersey Shore Day".
The cast was seen in Miami and Las Vegas for the second half of the season.[8] The second half of the season premiered on September 19, 2024. The season focused on Nicole's journey on learning about her biological family, Vinny's comedy career, Sammi's IVF journey, and Mike becoming a father of three.

- Angelina: Angelina is dealing with a lot of emotions as she meets her biological father, but will it be too good to be true? Plus, Angelina and Sammi are at odds, and after a few DMs and TikToks, it only gets messier.
- Deena: After planning many successful family vacations, Deena lets her fellow meatball plan the fun in Nashville. But, when MVP plans a retreat to Tucson, will Deena be able to sit back and relax or will the meatball need to save the vacation?
- Jenni: Things get extra spicy for Jenni this season and we aren’t just talking about the hot chicken challenge she takes part in while in Nashville. Plus, JWoww downsizes…
- Mike: Mike adds a new title to his list of accolades: author. The Situation has written a new book about his life, and he has some shocking revelations. Meanwhile, when the roomie drama intensifies, things get dicey for Mike when he tries to play mediator. During all of this, Mike finds out he’s going to be a father again. Will he be able to top his last death-defying gender reveal?
- Nicole: When Nicole isn’t having a classic New Jersey debate with Mike over Taylor ham vs. pork roll, she’s looking to expand her retail empire to Nashville. Will the music city be able handle a meatball night (or two) when the roomies tag along to scout the city?
- Pauly: Pauly’s still spinning all over the country, and when he’s not – he’s getting a proclamation from the mayor of Atlantic City with the rest of the roommates. He created a hot chicken challenge in Nashville, and along with Mike and Vinny, set up a retreat in Tucson to help keep the peace…. what could go wrong!?!
- Ronnie: After making amends with the roomies in Orlando, Ronnie joins the family trip in Nashville. He’s ready for some GTL with RSVP, to help Mike with his over-the-top gender reveal, and he’s ready to see his ex-Sammi Sweetheart for the first time in nine years.
- Sammi: Sammi avoided Ronnie’s return last vacation, but Nashville is a different story. How will she react to seeing Ronnie for the first time in over 9 years?
- Vinny: Vinny’s back in stripper-mode and he’s a bi-coastal stripper now as he woos Chippendales audiences in Las Vegas and Atlantic City. In addition, Vinny’s learning a few things about himself this season: he’s more Jersey than the Hamptons and he’s thinking it might be time for him to finally settle down and turn in his “hoe” card.
- There will be a Reunion for the season, although Pauly and Ronnie were not present.
- Both parts will air on the same day, airing as a two hour Reunion Special.
- Nikki Hall is returning to the series in the second half of the season.
- The last two episodes of 7A will be aired as a two hour season finale on May 16, 2024.
