Sharon Gilson recurred on Floribama Shore as the mother of Kortni.
Floribama Shore[]
Season 1[]
Kortni, feeling homesick, brings her new roommates home to meet her mom. They expect her mom to be loud and crazy like Kortni is, and are surprised when Sharon is a soft-spoken, warm woman. She bonds with all the roommates.
Sharon visits the beach house during family day and brings food with her. Kortni's cooking impresses Sharon. After leaving the house, Kortni moves out of her mom's home and into her own apartment.
Season 2[]
In the interim of the seasons, Kortni has moved back in with her mom.
She helps her daughter get a restraining order against Logan, who has been stalking Kortni and the roommates, and even going as far as threatening her. She comes by the house to inform the roommates of the situation and apologizes that they are involved as well.
Season 3[]
Sharon comes to drive Kortni and Nilsa to St. Pete after their flight was delayed.[1] Throughout the season, she makes several trips back and forth to first pickup Kortni to get her tonsils out, then to drop her off back at the house and finally to take her home for good.[2][3]
