Jersey Shore Wiki

The Shore House is an iconic staple in the MTV reality series, Jersey Shore. It served as the primary location for the eight housemates in seasons one, three, five, and six. The roommates briefly revisited the house in Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.

Jersey Shore[]

Season 1[]

The cast enters the house for the very first time and are later introduced to the house's owner and the roommates’ new boss.

In "Good Riddance", Angelina leaves the house after refusing to work at the Shore Store. Later, Pauly puts charcoal in the grill but can't light it, so Mike uses a lighter. The grill starts melting because it's a gas grill. The siding of the house is dark. Pauly uses the fire extinguisher on the flames, while Mike decides they can still use it.

In "Fade to Black", JWoww's boyfriend Tom stays the night. He's the first person to stay overnight at the house.

In "Just Another Day at the Shore", Ron's parents and younger brother visit the house. They're the first family members to stay over.

In "One Shot", Mike and Pauly prank Snooki by putting pickles under her bed. Mike then makes a "hate-orade" mix of parmesan cheese, milk, Cesar dressing, pickle juice, and mayonnaise, which he put under Vinny's bed. Snooki finds the pickles in the morning, though Vinny's room begins to strongly smell.

Season 3[]

Jersey Shore: Family Vacation[]

Season 1[]

The roommates prepare for a reunion vacation and stop by the shore store to see their old stomping grounds. Snooki sneaks away and returns to the shore house, finding it in the exact same condition as when the roommates stayed there. It was like it had been frozen in time. She even remembered the smell. As she walked through the house she found the duck phone and stole it.[1]

Season 2[]

The roommates decided to head to the shore for a nostalgia-filled trip. They call Danny and book a night at the shore house. They all reunite under the shore house roof for the first time in seven years.[2] It wasn't long before the traditional Sunday dinners turned into an epic condiments battle between Vinny and Angelina. The group had to clean up some of the mess before they left, and Jenni knew Danny would be pissed because he asked them not to trash it. They walked the boardwalk, hung out on the roof of the house, drank, slept in their tiny beds, and then left the next morning.[3]

Season 3[]

The cast gathers in the Shore House to celebrate Angelina's wedding. They give her some gifts and she writes her name on the wall since she is now part of the family. However, she accidentally wrote over Mike's name, and wrote "Ange" instead of "Ang".

Season 7[]

After the Jersey Shore Day celebration, the cast headed to Seaside Heights to see the old Shore House. It's Sammi's first time back in eleven years.[4] Vinny and Pauly leave before the girls get there as they have prior engagements. Danny surprises them with an appearance and critiques them for eating the food. They give tours of the house now and they didn't call him before coming in. He picks on Angelina because she "spent five days" there. He's about to give a tour so the cast decides to hide and jump out at fans to scare them. Feeling nostalgic, Mike, Nicole, Jenni, Angelina, and Deena decide to stay the night at the old shore house. The girls get creeped out by the place as the blacklight reveals bodily fluids everywhere. They decide to ditch Mike and stay at Snooki's shore house.[5] The girls return the next morning and Mike orders breakfast. A little later, Lauren arrives with Romeo to announce she's pregnant with her and Mike's third child. Mike also gets the invitation from Aaron Rodgers to attend the Jets game with his roomies.[6]

Season 8[]

To celebrate their 15 Year anniversary, the roommates head to the original house a day prior to set up in the store. It is the first time Sammi and Ron are in the house together since the original series.[7]

Roommates[]

The following people stayed in the house full time during their stints on Jersey Shore.

The following people were guests of the roommates during Jersey Shore and spent at least one night there. This list excludes one-night-stands.

Rooms and Layout[]

The shore house had six bedrooms and three bathrooms, which were shared between the roommates. There was also a big kitchen, dining area, living room, a patio, functional rooftop, and balcony. The upstairs linen closet was transformed into a confessional. The only bedroom to have one bed was dubbed the "Smush Room" and only used during special overnight visits.

In the first season, Mike, Pauly and Sammi roomed in the upstairs bedroom. Vinny, Jenni, and and Ronnie slept in the downstairs triple, while Angelina and Snooki slept in the downstairs double.

For the third and fifth seasons, the room arrangements were: Ronnie, Sammi and Mike in the upstairs bedroom, Pauly and Vinny in the two beds downstairs, and Jenni, Snooki, and Deena in the downstairs in the three beds.

The final season the arrangement changed with MVP taking the upstairs room, Sammi and Ronnie taking the two beds, and the other three girls in the same room until Snooki moved next door.

Notes and Trivia[]

  • The house is located right above the Shore Store on the boardwalk. There is a door through the back where one can enter the store. However for filming purposes, the cast was forced to take the long way around to get to work.

  • In Season 1, Angelina lasted 60 hours in the house before she left.[5]
