Vincent "Vinny" Guadagnino (born November 11, 1987) is an American reality television personality and actor. He is one of the eight original cast members on MTV's Jersey Shore and its sequel series, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. He starred in his own short-lived spin-off, The Show with Vinny. He made guest appearances on Snooki & JWoww.
Jersey Shore[]
Season 1[]
In the first season of Jersey Shore, Vinny Guadagnino, came out as a part of the cast who seemed to be somewhat "under the radar" as far as some Jersey Shore fans would consider. Vinny comes off as the character in the show who is a lot of shore fans would call the "good guy," or the "nice guy" of the series. Throughout Season 2 things start to change for Vinny and a lot of the housemates, and Vinny starts to come out as a bigger part of "The Shore" instead of his usual personality (staying in the background, avoiding drama, etc) he starts to show himself in a new light as more outgoing and promiscuous. Vinny's relationships change in the household as Season 2 approaches and relationships in the household blossom. Unexpected relationships come as well confrontation in the second season with Vinny and many Jersey Shore fans cannot wait to see what happens with him next. Vinny Guadagnino, is one of the more favored "Jersey Shore" cast members, especially among the female population due to his apparent "sweet, honest, and straight forward point of view." As Season 2 approaches Vinny becomes an even popular cast member to a lot of the viewers.
Season 2[]
As season 2 approaches Vinny, as he would call himself "the momma's boy", has been getting himself in quite an array of situations in the house, and has been at war with some of the "guidettes" of the shore house. Vinnie seems to comes out of his shell, as a lot would say in the second season, and seems to have taken a slight liking to a couple of the females in the shore house. Vinny has been one of the favorites amongst the ladies, charming them with his honest, and sweet personality. However, in Season 2, Vinny seems to successfully bring home a "girl all on his own", and things seem to just keep getting better in the lady department for this "jersey shore/ladies sweetheart". As Season 2 progresses, Vinny seems to fall into the so-called "M.V.P alliance" between the males in the household. As the season progresses, and to the shock of a lot of audience members, Vinny branches out and allegedly, to everyone's surprise,"smooshes", with not just outside females, but to a lot of peoples surprise, a couple of the girls in the Miami-Shore house as well. Vinny started out on a ranting hatred towards household member Angelina (as well as most of the other housemates,) which in Vinny's words apparently calls her the "Rob Kardashian of Staten Island.") Further into the season, they are caught with each others tongues in they're mouths in front of the whole house, and as it seems to all audience members as well as the Jersey Shore Cast members, definitely ended up getting together, or "smooshing" as the house-members would say. Presumably, Vinny has also had an on-screen romance with the popular "Snooki" as well. Everyone looks forward to what sweet little Vinny will be doing next.
Season 3[]
Season 4[]
Season 5[]
Vinny is feeling homesick, which adds to his feelings of anxiety and depression. He is also suffering from burnout from filming the show, as they had just returned from Italy not that long ago. He leaves the house for a brief time before the cast come to get him back.
Season 6[]
The Show with Vinny[]
Snooki & JWoww[]
Season 1[]
Vinny and the other roommates visit Nicole and Jenni at their new apartment for dinner. Nicole announces her pregnancy and engagement to Jionni LaValle.
Season 2[]
Jersey Shore: Family Vacation[]
Season 1[]
In the years since Jersey Shore, Vinny moved out of his parent's house - but not very far. He had a girlfriend Elicea, gone on the keto diet, and made fitness his life. Vinny was meant to head to Miami with Mike, but he revealed last-minute that he wouldn't be going with Vinny because of an impending court case for tax evasion. Vinny headed down to Miami alone, where he gleefully reunited with his "boyfriend" Pauly D and the rest of the roommates. He told them about Mike's situation and how, depending on what happened in court, Mike not be coming at all.
In pure Prank War Champion style, Pauly surprised the fam with the "Sam doll", meant to fill in for the missing Sammi Sweetheart. The doll was complete with a t-shirt that said "I'm in a really good place" (Sam's reason for not joining the series), a voice box with her catchphrases installed, and a brunette wig. Vinny and the roomies had their first night in Miami without Mike. (What's in the Bag?)
Mike came the second day and they went out for a nice to dinner celebrate being together and welcomed the new and improved Mike to the house.
Things went well for the group, aside from Ronnie clogging all the toilets in the house. On the third night, a drunk Vinny confronted Nicole about never being able to be near him. The situation escalated into a fight between them, and spiraled into a fight with Jenni when she tried to smooth things over. Nicole was worried all the talk about her past relationship with Vinny would "ruin her marriage" with Jionni. She packed her things and planned to leave until Pauly talked to her. Nicole then found Vinny and they hashed out their issues, realized they weren't even attracted to each other, and she apologized for making him feel like a lepper. (Sunday Vinday)
Season 2[]
Season 3[]
A month after season two, Vinny prepares to start his residency as an MC for Chippendales. The roommates, minus a pregnant Nicole and imprisoned Mike, fly to Vegas for his opening night. Vinny hurts his ankle playing basketball and has to use a scooter to rest it. Pauly gets him a motorized cart with an I <3 Pauly license plate. Vinny hopes that resting it completely will rehabilitate him enough for the opening night. His mom even flies in to support him. Things go great for Vin and he brings Jenni on-stage with him to do a provocative segment, has Angelina on-stage later for an interview portion, and ends the night when the Prank War Champion brings Uncle Nino on-stage.
The roomies are proud of Vin and happy for his debut, so they head to a female strip club after the show. Ron decides to go back to the hotel to protect his sobriety. For the past few days, Jenni and Angelina were in talks with Jen who alleges that Ron hasn't been home. Jenni invites her to the strip club against everyone's better judgment. Vinny stays out of it and refuses to even engage with Jen, believing he owes Ronnie that much respect. Pauly texts Ron to let him know where Jenn is. When the roommates get back to the hotel, Ron is gone. He returns the next morning very put together, says he went home to sleep, and is done with Jen. Vinny more-so stays in the background as Jenni, Angelina, and Ron discuss how Jenn ended up at the club - Jenni invited her.
Jenni introduces the roommates to her new boyfriend, who they nicknamed "24" because he's 24-years-old. They all rip on him though Vin gets a little annoyed when 24 doesn't play along. He finds it weird on 24 goes in on Angelina asking a bunch of questions about her sex life with Chris. At the club that night, Vinny witnesses 24 put his hand on Angelina's waist/butt and dance with her and a passed-out Jenni. He notes that if Jenni were sober at all she wouldn't be happy. This becomes an entire incident between 24-Jenni-Angelina as 24 alleges that Angelina kissed him and that he never touched Angelina. Vinny explains to both of the girls what he saw. Once they all get back to a shore house, things explode between the girls and wine bottles almost get thrown. The girls end up burying the hatchet.
A few weeks later, the roommates spend the night at Jenni's house in anticipation for Mike's release. Deena turns her drunken sights on Vinny, accusing him of being boring, unhappy, depressed, and no fun. She really rips into him, which annoys Vin since he's a professional dancer now and can't do the things they all can. He's at least there trying. Deena apologizes in the morning and they squash things. When Mike's release gets postponed, the girls decide to fly to Washington and protest. The boys think it's a dumb idea, so they stay at Jenni's house and ride the toy cars, play basketball, and try on 24's suits. Pauly decides to prank the girls by making them think Mike's sentence is put-off because of the girls actions in DC. Ronnie and Vinny play along perfectly and the girls are upset at first, until Jenni figures out he wrote the email. The trip ends with them all going back to their lives, excited to see Mike in September.
The roomies come back together to celebrate Mike's release. They go bowling, visit a strip club, order food like Mike would, and Vinny eats a carb. Jenni ends up leaving early because Roger flakes on their custody agreement, which annoys Vinny. As they pass the time until Mike can come see them, Nicole invites her psychic medium friend to come read the roomies. The medium tells Vinny that his uncle came to say Pauly has the best hair in the house. He will also find the love of his life "soon", though in an unexpected manner, and settle down with children. In the morning, Jenni returns and they decide to go shopping for Mike. They split into teams: Team Keto (Vinny, Angelina, and later Ronnie to keep the sexual tension at bay) vs Team Cheato (Pauly, Nicole, Deena, and Jenni). Vinny gets tired of having dinners for Mike so he makes a "movie" for Mike called The Shorefather that shows his evolution from 2009 to present day. He's excited to add more to it when Mike has kids.
Season 4[]
In the aftermath of the speech, Vinny and the boys try to mend the fractured family while dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. Uncle Nino continuously enters Vinny's quarantine bubble, which isn't that much different from his normal life. 10 months pass. As things get worse for the girls, and the world starts to slowly open up again, Pauly suggests the roomies fly to Vegas for a vacation. He decides not to have them at his house and instead, buys out an entire resort for the family. RSVP conspires to double-book Angelina and the girls. They end up having to rush their plan when Mike gives Deena the wrong arrival date. Their plans are derailed again when Deena announces she's pregnant and that's why she doesn't want to sit with Angelina. The boys feel bad so they fly Chris and CJ out to Vegas. While the roomies hang out, Vinny gets a new nickname - Twiggy.
Pauly wants his girlfriend Nikki to meet everyone, but needs the drama to be settled first, so Deena agrees to sit at a dinner with Angelina for Pauly's sake. The roomies also tease Vinny about becoming Pauly's side piece now that there's a main chick. After several attempts, Deena and Angelina finally bury the hatchet and decide to be friends again. They prank the boys into thinking Deena is leaving over being blindsided with the Angelina drama, even blaming it on Vinny's ill-timed joke night before about a "speech"; he swears he meant his own speech at Mike's wedding. He feels terrible about it but is elated when the prank is revealed.
Jenni is medically cleared to fly after her TMJ surgery so she texts everyone to let them know she's coming. She doesn't know that the boys know about her text to Deena threatening that if Deena sits down with Angelina, Jenni won't come at all. Vinny thinks Jenni is the puppet master and hates the whole ordeal. Deena had told Mike in what she thought was a private moment in the hallway, forgetting they were on a reality TV shows with camera and were wearing microphones. When Jenni arrives, RSVP tries a few different ways to get the girls to talk, but it all fails miserably. Now at their wits end, Ronnie suggests calling his friend Dr. Drew, whose number he has in his phone. Dr. Drew agrees to come to Vegas and help put the family back together. Vinny is thrilled as he's a huge Dr. Drew fan. The "intervention" goes very well with grievances being aired and feuds ended.
RSVP decides to throw Angelina a mock redo of her wedding. Vinny gets Uncle Nino to officiate while he plans a speech. His speech is a hilarious flipped roast of the original speech disaster, with Vinny turning each "dig" at Angelina into a positive. He also wears the OG bridesmaid dress. The roommates are ultimately brought back together through his terrible speech. The rest of the vacation goes smoothly, with Mike announcing he and Lauren are expecting their first child together.
A few months later, Vinny is looking to move to the west coast, which Paola isn't thrilled about. He returns to the East coast for Mike's Soberversary, but things aren't all good, as Angelina and Chris's marriage is on the rocks - again. With rumors of Angelina having a side piece in Old Bridge, Nicole making amends with Angelina while stirring the pot, and videos of Angelina and her side piece surface via ring camera footage from a neighbor.
The roommates head to the Poconos for Deena's first time planning a trip. Jenni announces her engagement, which Vinny thinks is too fast. He and Nikki get into a food fight where she ruins his jacket, which he sulks over for a while. He talks to production about getting it dry cleaned and has to send it out. Meanwhile, Zack invites the guys to join in him wrestling practice, which leads to the conception of "Guido Mania", a wrestling match consisting of Zack and RSVP. Vinny invites Uncle Nino to be the ring announcer. As Vinny executes his match, Jenni tells him of a bet she made with Angelina. Angelina can't react to Vinny for two days or she'll have to run in the snow in a bikini. If Angelina wins, she can push Jenni in the pool. Vinny does everything possible to annoy Angelina in the coming days, but ultimately, she holds out strong and wins. Vinny also competes in the boat making contest, etiquette dinner, sledding, and several other activities.
The roommates play a Bae Game in which Vinny beats Nikki for knowing Pauly better, his jacket is returned in perfect condition much to his glee, and Deena plans a surprise birthday party for Jenni. Vinny decides to throw a talent show for Jenni as a present and works with each roommate to perfect their talents. He also hosts and writes his monologue, organizes the event, and even helps Angelina write a revenge speech. Vinny, having struggled the entire trip with Uncle Nino, forgets the man is still at the resort. He's forced to invite him to Jenni's party.
The first (and probably last) Annual Jersey Shore Poconos Talent Show is a massive success - even with the appearance of Dren and Angelina's bombing. The rest of the trip goes well and the roommates have a farewell party at a joint baby shower for Deena and Lauren. Mike (re)announces the gender of his baby. Vinny finds it hilarious when Angelina shoots Chris in the face with a gender reveal canon. Vinny heads home to LA after the Poconos where he now has a residence.
Season 5[]
Vinny sells his house in Staten Island so he's living fulltime in LA. He explains to this to Paola and she's happy to have him living with her again during his stays, which isn't exactly what Vinny had in mind.
